Crop Hunger Walks are community events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by area churches, schools, and/or businesses. Of the funds raised by the Elgin walk, 25% will go to Elgin food pantries and soup kettles. The rest will be used by Church World Service for disaster relief, refugee assistance, and sustainable economic development in the U.S. and around the world.
