Bible studies and Small Groups offer a wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith while building meaningful connections within our Journey of Hope family. These gatherings are designed to encourage spiritual growth, provide support, and foster a sense of belonging. Whether you're looking to explore scripture, share life experiences, or simply connect with others in a welcoming environment, there's a place for you here. Below is a list of our ongoing opportunities — you are welcome to join at any time!

  • Classes for all ages are available on Sunday mornings following worship.

Find a full list of classes & register here.

  • Join us on Monday mornings at 7:30am as we walk, read and discuss scripture. October - April we meet at the Elgin campus and May-September we meet at the Parsonage and walk the nearby trails. If rain, meet at church.

  • Our Book Study Group meets regularly to dive into seasonal studies and inspiring books that help us grow in faith and build real connections. It's a laid-back, welcoming space where we explore meaningful topics, ask honest questions, and encourage each other along the way. Whether you're just starting your faith journey or looking to go deeper, you'll find great conversation and community here.

  • Join us Wednesday morning @ 6am at the Panera Bread in South Elgin. Grab a bagel, cup of coffee (or tea) and join us as we talk about the upcoming Sunday scripture passages

  • Everyone is invited to join this ongoing, online study group. We meet every Tuesday at 9:30am for about 90 minutes. The only book you will need is a Bible in any translation. Week to week will be a standalone study so it is not necessary to join each week. Registration is required to access the Zoom session.

  • Throughout the year we offer seasonal or short-term small group and book study opportunities. Find out more about those classes and sign up for all classes here.
